The aim of this work is the targeted synthesis of new fused and non-fused thiazole/thiazolidinone derivatives containing fragments of natural compounds, in particular curcumin, juglone, and biogenic amines, as potential “drug-like molecules.” The study will include the evaluation of anticancer (in vitro) and antimicrobial activities of the synthesized compounds, as well as the application of computational modeling and experimental approaches to investigate the mechanisms of their biological activity.
