The aim of the work is to study methods for the synthesis of new types of fluorine-containing sulfur compounds, in particular derivatives of imidosulfinic and imidosulfonic acids, to study their structure and possibilities of use in synthetic organic chemistry as reagents or catalysts. The main synthetic approaches to obtain these compounds will be based on the study of the reactions of sulfur tetrafluoride with derivatives of enantiomerically pure amino acids to obtain new types of chiral fluorine-containing organic compounds, as well as on a targeted search for methods for the synthesis of sulfur imido compounds containing the superstrong electron-withdrawing substituent NSO2CF3, in particular, bis(trifluoromethylsulfonylimino)trifluoromethanesulfonic acid, which is an effective catalyst for epoxide aminolysis, acylation, and Friedel-Crafts cyclization reactions.
