The objective of this expert research is to conduct a preliminary assessment and analysis of the status of bird and bat populations, as well as the potential impact upon them of a proposed wind power plant complex located within the territory of the Liublynets and Lukiv settlement territorial communities in the Kovel District of the Volyn Region. This baseline assessment of the potential impacts resulting from the construction and subsequent operation of the wind power plant is based on an analysis of existing literature, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports and conclusions, Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) reports, previous ornithological studies, and scientific reports concerning areas adjacent to the site of the planned activity.
