Study objest is large and small nature - protected areas in west of Ukraine. The study goal is to solve questions of the inventory and spatial develipment using geographical information systems. The methods of geoinformational systematisation and mapping as well as interpreting of remorety sensed data were used. It is methologically substantiated usage of GIS technologies for inventory, zoning and planning of conservation areas. The computer models for spatial development of natural reserves, national and landscape parks, geological-geomorphological monuments with in the Western Ukraine are created.
