There had also been forseen the modeling block for variable loading in the kind of the single signal or a signal, which can be specified by any law. The developed the mathematical models helped determine boundary value of the electromagnetic capacity and electromagnetic torque in the synchronous motors of the excavator units ЭКГ-8И and ЭШ-20/90 when working under the conditions of the significant voltage drop in the electric feeding system at the time of starting the synchronous motors of the neighboring excavator units. There had been determined the boundary values of the voltage drop in the nodes of the electric power supply system of the ore mining and processing enterprise when starting the main electric drives. There had been researched the influence of the excitation current of the synchronous motor on its surge capability under the condition of interaction of the neighboring powerful electric drives when been fed from the power supply net with the restricted carrying capacity. When simulating the excitation forcing there had been taken into account the transit-time effects of the excitation circuit and saturation of the magnetic circuit of the synchronous motor.
