The scientific research results include: the characteristics features of the scattering diagrams by the two-dimensional insertions inside a plain-layered medium versus a number of the insersion parameters; for this purpose two versions of the null-field method modifications for solving the direct problem of the electromagnetic wave diffraction upon aconducting inhomogeneous insertion in a plain-layered medium areanalyzed; the providing of a basis for the industrial designing of devices for both remote sensing and the imperfections searching in compound products andconnstructions; as well as being of scientific value in order to advance both the scattering object model and the incedent field one. The results obtained evidence that the chosen investigation approach is much promissing; and does need further development as well.
