Research aim - studying common and specific feature of the legal language, its functions and essential functional stylistic kinds, terminological syllable in diachronic and synchronic aspects. Methodological aparatus of research consists of the range of general science, interdisciplinary and branch methods (i.e., linguistic and legal methods): system, modeling, historic comparative, textological and functional stylistic analysis. Theoretical significance of the work: theoretical and methodological basics of legal linguistics as the new interdisciplinary trend of scientific researches and the new educational course are developed, the specific nature of judicial debate on lexical and grammatic stylistic levels, its essential functional stylistic kinds are determined. Practical significance of research - determining of the specific character of legal language and terminology is important for solving practical tasks of jurisprudence, especially in thefield of legislative activity - determining basic requirements applicable to legal terminology and legal texts, bearing in mind its functional stylistic specific nature, developing the ruls of judicial-technique and language-stylistic legislative drafting, solving problems of termsusage. Project novation - it is the brand new integrated and many-faceted research of legal language and terminology in Ukraine. The results of reason are successfully applied in the range of new specific disciplines such as: -'Legal terminology', 'Legal language' and 'Legal linguistics'. Effectiveness of the new approaches. Introducing courses into the system of higher legal education significantly improves the quality of linguistic training of lawyers as experts that allows to train highly qualified experts in statute drafting and experts of lawprojects, legal scientists and practicing lawyers, researchers involved in compiling legal dictionaries, editors and translators of legal texts, professionals in court linguistic expertise.Field of application: lawmaking (linguistic providing of legislative activity and linguistic expertise of lawprojects) and application of law ( general and process діловодство, judicial linguistic expertise), legal science and education (theory of state and law, legal terminology, legal language), linguistics (terminology, stylistics) and languages teaching methods for special reasons.
