The collection of microorganisms was kept in functional state: 16840 strains of guaranteed and work funds of collection were preserved in alive form. The ecological-taxonomic investigations of yeasts, micromycetes, sporeforming bacteria, gram-negative marine eubacteria, isolated from different ecological niches were conducted. The biotechnological potential of representatives of different taxonomic groups of microorganisms collection fund were determined. 81 microorganisms strains were given out.
