Complex investigations of Ge-Sb-Se and Ge-As-Se chalcogenide glasses were carry out. There were choosed the optimal glass compositions which meeted the demands for the active elements of fiber optic sensors. The equipment and the technique of investigation of active elements were developed. The transmission characteristic of fiber optic tempereature sensors was calculated. The correation signal/noice was estimated.
