It was shown that diagonal selfajoint operator can be represented as a linear combination of four idempotents. It was proved that any complex matrix is a linear combination of three idempotents. It was found new sifficient conditions on the trace of a matrix to represent it as a linear combination of fix number of idempotents. We find irreducible representations of algebras generated by linear connected idempotents of small amount with additional orthogonality properties.
