Grape varieties distinguished for good quality and different uses of the fruit, high yielding capacity, different terms of maturation and multiple resistance to main diseases occurring on the South Coast of the Crimea have been developed by generative hybridization. Clones of classical valuable varieties have been selected. These varieties and clones have been evaluated on the basis of their content of biologically active substances. Varieties Anatelicon, Bordeaux and Gviene have been registered and transferred to the State variety trial. Varieties Semillin and Mourvedre have been entered in the Register of varieties of Ukraine authorized for commercial cultivation on the South Coast of the Crimea.
