Aims of the project: 1. Determination of possible partners of the components of translation machinery in human cells by TAP-Tag method. 2. Study of the intracellular mobility of the components of translation machinery in human cells by FRAP method. We first determined that multiprotein complex of aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases and the complex of elongation factor 1 ("heavy" form) exist in vivo. We determined the protein partners which interact with the components of multisynthetase complex and the proteins which interact with the components of elongation factor 1 ("heavy" form). We determined the role N-terminal domains of aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases, which provide compartmentalization of aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases.
