The suhject of research - main indexes of milk productivity ( yield, fat and protein content) of Ukrainian black - and red-dappled breeds. The target of research is study and developing effective methods of selections on improving protein content in yield of Ukrainian black - and red- dappled breeds. The methods of research - conventional principles used in livestock selection. The results of research - determinate between herds, between lines, as well as, protein content differences between different genotype cows and daughters of individual bulls. Using statistic methods of genetics discovered unequal comqarative variability indications of milk productivity, proving effectiveness of selection on protein content in milk; determinate different ratio between casein fractijns and general protein content and replaceable fnd irreplaceable amino acids content in milk of researched breeds. The subject of research - the cattle-breeding.
