The object of the investigation - methods of laboratory diagnostics of the poultry virus enteritis (especially geese and Muscovy ducks) - the disease that is sufficiently wide-spread in Ukraine and in the world, which must be standardized for avoiding differences when defining the epizootic situation both in separate flocks of birds and in poultry farms.The aim of the work - the creation of the national standard of Ukraine for methods of laboratory diagnostics of the poultry virus enteritis where the main methods of investigations (epizootic, microscopic, bacteriological, serological) and additional ones (pathologoanatomic and others), that are used in laboratories of veterinary medicine but haven't been standardized yet, will be presented. The working out standard is necessary for diagnostics of poultry diseases in laboratories of veterinary medicine of different institutions and gives the possibility for using standardized, effective and safe methods of poultry disease diagnostics.
