All types of nanostructures were studied: two-, one- and zero- dimensional. The special attention is given to the physical mechanisms of self-organizing of nanostructures, to the influence of dimensional quantization on the energy spectrum of elementary and collective excitations, to the feautures of of radiative processes,to the mechanisms of current trasfer in conditions of resonsnt tunneling. In our investigations the wide complex of modern experimental techniques is used. The known var iants of these methods are supplemented with original development. All this approaches allowed to discovering a number of the new phenomena and effects, the majority from which have received thoretical quantitative, or at least qualitative, interpretation. Moreover it is theoreticaly predicted and proved a number ofthe new physical phenomena which can have important practical value for nanoelectronics.
