Description

The design of welded sample for fatique tests is defined. The most acceptable are the samples with lateral round narrowings. It was established that heat-hardened butt joints have mainly fatique failure in places of transition from weld tothe base metal. A fatique cyclic strength depends on peculiarities of welding, heat and mechanical treatments.
