The conducted research has exposed the complex of questions related to transformation of Ukrainian rural community in the dynamics of social changes, explored the reaction of peasants on these changing, caused by the redistribution of economic power, ownership, land, labour, material welfare in the rural locality and by the regrouping of rural producers. It confirmed that the present-day village is in the transitive situation of difficult way from one system of production and coexistence (collectivism) to another one (private), and modern rural community on this stage acquires the characteristics of conflict, traumatized and socially wandering community.
