Procedures and software have been developed for evaluating the strength, vibrations and the life of pressurised vessels in actual corrosive medium conditions using FEM and Fourier series expansion, and the method of determining vessel natural oscillations when it is partially filled with fluid. The maximum loads have been estimated, and the affect of identified damages on extending the safe service life of a 50 m3-pressurised vessel has been evaluated. The vessel has been used at PA Pivdennyi Mashynobudivnyi Zavod since 1964. The results of investigating existing vessels have been implemented at PA Pivdennyi Mashynobudivnyi Zavod. Application - power machine building.
