Part 1 Optimal norms of sowing basic seeds, row width were determined; expediency of companion sowing ond additional pollination was proved; there were scientifically grounded proposals for production wfh perfected technology of growing sugar beet hybrid seeds, especially for the South-Eastern part of the Crimea. Part 2 Efficiencu of seed treatment with a microwave method was stated; Optimal regimes wifh different methods of presownig treatment were determined, and the influence of microwave field on seeds of different biological forms of sugar beet was studied. Part 3 The report presents the results of investigations of efficiency of using diffirent desiccants, which guarantee harvesting sugar beet seed plants wifh a direet method. Part 4 Minimal indexes ofquality of produced seeds, used for preparation of incrusted and pelleted seeds meeting the requirements of indexes of world standards were determined.
