The purpose of the present research work is to study the general trends in approaches to labor remuneration management and to formulate strategies and tactics of development. The methods of inquiry - systems approach, expert evaluation. With present-day transition of the Ukrainian economy to market conditions in mind, the need to intensify attention to the problems of a general strategy of enterprises and organizations increases. This problem should pass from the theoretical plane to the sphere of specific practical acts on the part of directors, leaders, and managers of all economic entities irrespective of their size and pattern of ownership. Such an approach requires considerable effort to the following effect: change in the mentality of the aforesaid persons with respect to strategic management in remuneration of labor; development of systems principal strategic figures of companies; building of an integrated system ofgeneral and functional strategies regarding remuneration of labor; intensification of cooperation with scientific, research, educational and consulting institutions and establishments. There are various problems in each economy, which restrict development of society; however, being a source of generation of people's incomes, remuneration of labor is a major problem. Such component as "wages and salaries" is present in the foreign and home policies of the countries worldwide.
