It is proved that after joining WTO Ukraine has disadvantageous conditions regarding prospects of use of duty rate for protection of internal market. Lowering of import rates became one of factors of growth of meat and mead foods import in Ukraine. Atter joining WTO by Ukraine on the market of dairy products one docs not observe signiticant growth of import. Lowering of import rates affects directly volumes of imports and indirectly conditions of branches of agricultural production.
