Investigation object - implicit and degenerate differential equations in Banach spaces, in particular, equations with singular linear part. Work purpose - the analysis of different classes of implicit and degenerate differential equations in Banach spaces, in particular: - studying different types of singularities of characteristic operator sheaves; - investigating the solvability of equations; - elucidating compatibility conditions on initial data; - applications to partial differential equations, to differential algebraic equations, to the theory radiotechnical networks; - the construction and of mathematical models of electromagnetic field in waveguide liquid filtration; - the development of numerical methods to finding solutions of degenerate initial value problems. Investigation methods - the nonlinear analysis in Banach spaces, the spectral analysis of nonself-adjoint operators and operator sheaves, the theory of partial differential equations, the theory ofdifference schemes. Main results: - new theorems of existence of solutions for different classes of initial value problems; - applications of abstract results to different classes of partial differential equations; - new mathematical models of electromagnetic field in waveguide and liquid filtration; - new numerical methods of finding solutions of degenerate initial value problems.
