Introduction of spring rape in grain-beet rotation increases soil infection with beet cyst nematode 1.6-2.8 tines. The most susceptible to parasite affection proved to be the varieties Yamal, Maria, Oksamit (index of nematode multiplication was 2.8, 2.7, 2.6 respectively) , and the least susceptible were Aira and Rimal. The smallest number of eggs and larvae per cyst was found with growing the rape variety Rimal (164 pieces) and the greatest number - in the Oksamit variety (198 pieces). Average cyst filling was 187 eggs + larvae. One generation of beet cyst nematode develops during the vegetation period on rape. Local application in soil with sowing of the insecticide Geravitox -U, 5% w.g. reduced beet cyst nematode abundance by 52.3%.
