A purpose of work is development of requirements to pedigree ostriches, which are intended for realization. Methods of researches - are a retrospective analysis of normative document, scientific and technical information, generalization of information, development of requirements taking into account the modern level of development of technique. Results of the conducted researches. requirements to pedigree ostriches, which are intended for realization concerning their origin, living mass, height in the back, to the circumference of trunk by wings in day's age, three months age, one-year, two-year and three-year age are developed. The indexes of conduct and original appearance of sapling of ostriches for sorting them on a standard and nonstandard are resulted. Except for technical requirements to the pedigree sapling of ostriches requirements on safety, guard of environment, to marking, to packing, rules of transporting, methods of controlling, rule of reception, guarantee of producer are developed also. Appendixes of project of State Standard of Ukraine contain: basic measuring of ostriches (appendix A), passport of pedigree sapling (appendix Б), bibliography (appendix B).
