The state of technogenic objects is analyzed and the reforming directions for the system of public oversight (control) them in Ukraine defined. The key directions for improving of national policy and control system in sphere of waste management are defined. The ways to improve the methodology of State control in production sphere on the basis of risk-based approach are proposed. The recommendations concerning the application of public oversight (control) mechanism for technogenic safety management improving are formulated.
