Localization and properties of calpain, caspases and proteasomes in various brain regions were investigated during immobilization stress.The data concerning development of diabetes and functionating of calpain-calpastatin system in brain and spinal cord were received. The model system for the control of the reactive oxygen species formation in mithohondria was elaborated. This model can be useful for the understanding of the molecular mechanisms of apoptosis. It was demonstrated that interferone and its derivatives alters metabolic and electrical activity of the nerve cells owing to modulation of potential sensitivity and kinetic characteristics of sodium channels. The data were obtained that the human mesenchymal stromal stem cells seem to be worthwhile therapeutic approach in cases of ionizing irradiation .
