It was established that in the conditions of broken hypoxia there are the certain adaptive changes in the nitric oxide system at the rats of both groups, but antioxidative defence in old age became less reliable, and as results we have the oxidative stress. It is possible to suppose that an old organism, in spite of existent adaptive processes, becomes more sensible to development of oxidizing stress, and as result the development of age-dependent diseases.
