Thermal investigations of flowing parts of steam turbines of TPPs and cogeneration plants have been carried out, extreme conditions of heat exchange on surfaces of their elements have been specified, analytical models for estimation of thermostressed state of HPC and IPC rotors have been developed, thermal and thermostressed state of HPC and IPC has been calculated. During the investigation some methods are used: principles of defining extreme conditions of turbine elements' thermal state, skill of conducting calculation researches and experimental works on turbosets and bundled software is applied for calculating thermostressed state and estimation of turbines'residual life, they were developed at IPMash NAS of Ukraine. Some recommendations are made for defining regimen of moderation for extending operational life of high power turbines at TPPs and cogeneration plants of Ukraine
