Developed standard establishes general principals for use of food additives; provides guideline procedures for specified food additives that have been assigned an Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI); determines the food category system. Standard is intended for harmonization of national legislation in line with international one in food safety and quality field as well as promotion to international trade. DSTU-N General Standard for Food additives has been developed in line with the acted international standard CODEX STAN 192 General Standard for Food additives.
