The analysis of corrosion resistance of welds of austhenitic steels 10Х17Н13М2Т and 12Х18Н9Т was made in technological conditions based on investigation of working process of the sulfate department and of the department of thiocyanate salts on the coke chemistry factory. The basic controlling factors of corrosion processes were established based on experimental data. It was proved that welding connections of this steels on this conditions need to be protected from point corrosion and ulcer corrosion. Based on literature data, it was shown that micro-alloying by rare earth metals is the most perspective and effective protection method for welds.
