It was established that 56,32% of pregnant women in the Donetsk region have iodine deficiency, and 36,36% of such patients have a relative form hypothyroxinemia. Proved that the III trimester in women with iodine deficiency was observed a progressive decline in free thyroxine on 7-10,00% of the original, which led to the formation of subclinical and symptomatic stages of hypothyroidism. By the end of gestation period in 30,00% of women were diagnosed with diffuse goiter I degree. A positive linear relationship of progesterone level on the concentration of free thyroxine and a negative correlation between the level of androgen and thyroxine, which showed a high degree of influence of thyroid hormones in the mother.
