The measurements by optical-polarizing methods of refraction indices dispersion of cadmium dephosphide crystals and establishment of its connection with technologies of their receiving has allowed to recommendate of rather optimum conditions of its synthesis from an elementary components and to obtain the large-sized (up to 20 mm) monocrystals of high optical quality. The parameters are designed and are made polarizator of electromagnetic radiation by a diameter up to 15 mm in near ІR of area on the basis of the brought up cadmium dephosphide crystals of tetragonal modification.
