Goal of investigation: creating constructive methods for the synthesis of control functions for finite- and infinite-dimensional models of hybrid systems. Methods of investigation: methods of analytic mechanics, direct Lyapunov method, methods of continuous semigroups of operators, methods of impulse systems theory. Fields of application: mathematical control theory, mechanics of distributed parameter systems, impulse control. The controllability problem for dissipative distributed parameter systems is investigated using a finite-dimensional control. Linear dynamical systems controlled by first-order impulses only are considered. Controllability and stabilizability properties for such systems are investigated. Mathematical models of transport flows with a discrete-switching control are considered.
