A system of singular integral equations is constructed for investigations of thermoelastic response of a solid with arc-like cracks, whose faces are under partial contact due to heat flux and uniformly distributed tractions at points of infinity. The conditions of smooth contact of the crack edges are established. A technique of decompositions by multiple error functions is adopted to construction of closed-form solutions to the two-dimensional problems of thermoelasticity for an infinite compound plate which is heated by a heat source. On the basis of experimentally approved models for determination of the temperature in thermosensitive semitransparent and nontransparent solids, an approach for determination of the temperature and stress-strain state is approbated for plates and cylinder during their aftercooling.
