Object of research - the extrusion processes of hollow parts with variable wall thickness which provide the diversification of products obtained. Methods of research - the basis of theoretical studies put the energy method the upper bound and finite element method. Experimental studies were conducted using the method of physical modeling and strain gauges for measuring technological effort and the method of coordinate grids to determine the strain state of preparations. To assess the accuracy of the results and the degree of convergence of theoretical and experimental studies have used methods of mathematical statistics. Theoretical and practical results - obtained calculated dependencies allow to describe the deformation mode of the processes forming the hollow parts with variable wall thickness, to develop programs for automated calculation of the energy-power parameters of the processes forming the hollow parts with variable wall thickness, are proposed and tested new ways and schemes of tooling to produce hollow parts with variable wall thickness. Novelty - first established a rational shape and size of butt blanks in the process of internal radial-forward extrusion cone fixture to reduce the deviation of a sphere at the end of the details. For the first time to the process of internal radial-forward extrusion on cone fixture dependences of the deviation from the profile of the longitudinal section of parts of the geometric parameters of the stamping tools. Effectiveness Study - results will expand the range and provide savings of material resources in the production of hollow parts with variable wall thickness. Scope - forging, pressing, stamping.
