The object of research - Pellet sinter mixture, gas-dynamic properties of the formed layer, sintering the sinter charge, mass and heat transfer processes in the agglomeration. The purpose of the work - the intensification of the sintering process with increasing height of sinter layer and a significant increase in productivity of sintering machines by improving the quality of pelletizing, the gas permeability of the sinter charge and the acceleration of mass and heat transfer processes during sintering. Methods of research - a method of electronic view to determining the parameters of the layer formed in the stream, and methods of mathematical statistics, a comparative analysis of technological parameters of sintering processes, mathematical modeling to produce discrete model of a layer of granular material, methods of physical modeling and experimental design for research in the laboratory, the method calculation of the sinter charge. Contradictions processes pelletizing and sintering the sinter charge identified and dealt with ways of solving them. Criteria for the simultaneous control the speed of pelletizer and humidity okomkovannoy charge defined. A new discrete model of a layer of granular material was developed. Criterion for the segregation of the charge size is defined and its optimal value. New way of sintering agglomerate with the simultaneous use of preheating and oxygen-enriched air is developed. The results of research partially implemented at JSC Azovstal and PSC "MMC name Ilyich". Forecast assumptions about the development of the object of research - improving the sintering process.
