Object of research - hardening protective coatings. The purpose of research - the creation of the concept of surface hardening at the lowest level of Stress-Strain State on operating conditions and to achieve adhesion-cohesion equistrength through the control and optimization of the coating process. The criterion of adhesion-cohesion equistrength of two-layer coatings applied to technology of electric-contact sintering of powder coatings is suggested. A method for reducing the concentration of edge stresses in adhesive joints using the variable elastic modulus along the adhesive contact is proposed. New design scheme of discrete coatings of frame type - Punched, fishnet, mesh is developed. Their advantages in comparison with discontinuous coatings of island type are shown. The technology of plasma treatment of cast iron parts on geometric parameters of discontinuous structure from the conditions of minimization of Stress-Strain State is optimized. A method for multicriterion optimization on the complex of mechanical properties, energy output and equipment performance on an example of PVD hardening of titanium compressor blades AGTI. A complex approach that includes methods of Stress-Strain State calculating, modern technological developments in the creation of new design of coatings, as well as experimental studies of the complex of thermo-mechanical properties of materials with coatings in carrying out research is applied.
