The object of research is guaranteesafe movement of ship in the limited area of water. For the solutions of the research's tasks were used: еhe method of dynamic decomposition and linearization, operator estimation, vector-matrix and differential conversion, method of characteristic functions, maximum principle, method of multi-criteria optimization and systems analysis, theory of expert marks and method of Bayes. Scientific researches were performed on the material and technical base of the National University of shipbuilding. The material-technical base includes computer hardware and software (with Internet access), experimental stands, measuring devices, industrial places and the material-technical base has the appropriate level. The scientific and practical results of research:developed of formation's methods and structure of the automated interactive system of the control of the ship's movement on the dispatching (strategically) and ship (tactical and executive) levels; developed of methods of the multicriteria optimization and the theoretical basis of the synthesis of the decision making system for the control of the ship in the conditions of limited water areas; criterions of the marks of the movement's safety; dynamic models of ships and theirs control's criterions by the movement on the given trajectories; developed of synthesis's theory of the optimal automatic system of control of the guaranteesafe movement of ships; imitation dynamic models of the ship's movement in the conditions of limited water areas; program-technology complex automated interactive system. The novelty of the results is first created the method of synthesis of optimal control of the ship's movement with considering the nonstationarity of the parameters of dynamic models with the special structures of the circuits of feedback. The results are introduced in the maritime transport company, St. Petersburg, in the educational plan of the National University of shipbuilding, Nikolayev.
