Cognitive discourse semantics of a text is distinguished by multidimensional organization and diversity of interpretations of such general linguistic issues as language system, lexemes classification into parts of speech, discourse mental spaces and other textual, conceptual an mythological representations, that have symbolic nature and play significant semiotic role in linguo-cognitive comprehension of the reality in all its varieties. In the course of the theme development the question of syncretism of interrogative and relative pronouns was examined in diachrony for the first time. The author clarified anthropothentric parameters of a simple sentence, thoroughly explained the issue of space conceptualization in the semantics of French and Romanian prepositions.
