The object of research: breeding sheep meat and wool Askanian rocks (Dnepropetrovsk type) and new cross and second generation obtained from crossing of meat from sheep uterus olibs Dnepropetrovsk type. Objective: to determine the factors of meat traits in sheep meat and wool Askanian rocks at their crossing with rams olibs. Type of Research: experimental and genetic-population. Originality of research: the first in Ukraine to create meat-type sheep were conducted comprehensive studies of the dynamics of mass and linear growth of meat production characteristics for the Local olibsamy offspring. Research results created a flock of sheep meat early with a specialized meat breed olibs crossbred with uterine Dnepropetrovsk type AMV. The introduction of scientific developments in industry provides increasing slaughter retirement 3,77%.
