Vectors for agrobacterial transformation of plants containing chimeric genes of Mycobacterium tuberculosis fbpB and fbpB(TMD) fused with marker gene GFP. A number of stable transgenic lines of N.tabacum and N.benthamiana have been obtained after agrobacterium transformation. Transient expression of chimeric protein Ag85B(TMD)::GFP in infiltrated leaves of N.benthamiana was detected and charakterised by cytological and biochemical methods.
