Report for 2006-2010 and for 2010 about implementation of tasks concordantly NTP NAAS of Ukraine for the selections of winter soft and hard wheat. Placed on 50 pages with 27 tables and 3 additions. Objeсt of researches: improvement of method, creation of feedstock, for the selection of new highly productive varieties of winter soft and hard wheats, adjusted to the agroekology terms of Steppe and Forest-steppe of Ukraine. Article of researches: forming processes in hybrid populations, effect of genes short stem, display of signs and properties in different nurseries and supervisions of varieties as a result of selections and estimations in the field and laboratory terms. The primary objective of research works of laboratory of selection and genetics of wheat was an improvement of methods of adaptive selection and creation of adjusted to the terms south Ukraine of high-yield and high-quality varieties of wheat of soft winter-annual. Expected results. The accrued varieties will own high firmness to the unfavorable terms of environment and to form the productivity on 4,5-5,0 c/hectare higher, than modern sorts. Phenological supervisions, field evaluations, were conducted in obedience to the Metodics of State varieties service of Ukraine (in 2003 year). Firmness to illnesses was estimated after scales by: Kobb, Loegering, Mayns-Ditc, Saari-Preskot. Laboratory researches conducted the generally accepted methodics.
