Object of research - theory and methodology of physical education as a scientific and academic disciplines. The purpose of the study - the correction of the curriculum,content and methodology of teaching the subject theory and methodology of physical education university students according to personality-oriented paradigm of education and modern knowledge about the laws of managing by the process of physical training of different age groups. Methods of research - the study and analysis of literary sources and documentary evidence, questioning, peer evaluation, teacher training and psycho-physical tests, mathematical and logical analysis. The report examined and identified areas of scientific research, reviewed the literature on teacher control in the management of the educational activities of students of university of physical education, the urgency of the problem,defined set of methods for the study,developed and implemented student-oriented model of teaching students discipline "Theory and Methodology of Physical Education".
