Using a purposeful synthesis about 500 not-mentioned in scientific chemical literature compounds were obtained: heterocyclic compounds derivatives, 5-aroylmethyl-4-thyazolidones, 5-aryl-6,6-dihydro-2H-pyrazolo[1,5-c]benzo[e]-1,3-oxazyno-2-spyro-4'-thyazolidine-2'-ones, bicyclical non-condensed thyazolidone, 2,4-thyazolidinedione-2-thiosemicarbazones, 4,6-dithio-1,2,9-triaza-spiro[4.4]nonen-2 and 4-azolidone-3-propionic acids derivatives. The biological activity screening of some compounds was performed. A great number of these compounds were found to posses anticancer, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and anti-tuberculosis activities. The pharmacognostic and photochemical researches of a series of Western region plants were carried out and a number of biological active compounds were extracted and identified. The optimal preparation conditions were developed and pharmacological activity was studied for phyto-substances and phyto-complexes of the researched plant sources which were determined to be promising for phyto-based drugs obtaining. The optimal compositions and preparation technologies were worked out for the new drugs of local action - liniments, pastes, films, gels, elixirs, sprays for using in dentistry and dermatology and also emulsion anti-mastitis drug for using in veterinary medicine. The quantitative analysis methodologies for biological active compounds in substances and drugs, extraction and analysis methods of toxic substances in biological objects and environment were developed by the means of physical-chemical research methods.
