The object – collection entries, breeding lines, hybrid populations and soybean varieties. The purpose - to develop highly productive varieties of soybean with adaptability to the environment, resistant to diseases and pests, producible, with high protein content, and an increased level of nitrogen fixation. Methods - hybridological analysis, biochemical, statistical. Results:a considerable set of varieties and collection entries of soybean have been analysed and the genotypes adapted to changeable conditions of a steppe zone of Ukraine have been selected; on their basis valuable constant lines and varieties have been developed. Introduction: 7 varieties of soybean – Siayvo, Danko, Antares, Oriya, Rusa, Feniks, Symfoniya were transferred to the State Variety Trial.
