The object of study - the tactics and methods of treatment of victims with severe multiple injuries in the prehospital and in hospital. The goal was to improve the treatment results of patients with severe combined and multiple trauma. We used the methods of descriptive statistics and system analysis using the programs MS Excel, SPSS 13. This work is aimed at creating a unified health care system affected with severe multiple injuries at all stages of care. The result of the work was to study the characteristics of a heavy polytrauma, determining the causes of mortality and poor results of treatment of victims with severe polytrauma, tactics and methods of treatment of severe skeletal and brain injury, development of protocols for victims of prehospital unspecialized and specialized medical care. Field of use - medicine, surgery injuries. Results have been implemented in the department of polytrauma Kharkiv City Clinical Hospital emergency medicine named by prof. A.I.Meshchaninov, in the Kharkov Center for emergency medicine and disaster medicine, non-specialized surgical trauma departments
