To create composite absorber materials mixture were сhosen with light atoms (boron, carbon, hydrogen) for deceleration and absorb neutrons and with heavy (hafnium) to provide of wide energetic absorption spectrum of neutron. The specimens were created: а)with configuration hafnium- diborid of hafnium from mixture: composition of powder of hafnium and amorphous boron under ratio 1:1 with addition of aluminium (< 5 % (wht)). b)material of diborid of hafnium by the methods of high-temperature of reactive precchure of compositon carbide of hafnium and carbide boron under ratio 2:1 under temperature 2200 оС and time of pressing-2 min.
