Object of research is climate change, which has a significant impact on agriculture and food security, though climate change impact on food security has not been investigated much recently. But global warming made significant influence throughout the whole planet including Ukraine. That is why, issues of climate change impact on food security has to be resolved at international and regional levels.The overall goal of the project is to analyze climate change and food security based on remote sensing and in-situ data sets and development of geospatial services for vegetation state assessment and disaster forecasting in agriculture. Climate change impact on food security is based on modern methods of investigations, in particular correlation and regression analysis of 10 years trends from satellite data and derived vegetation indices, and correlation between these indices with climate change parameters and productivity of agriculture in Ukraine.The new fundamental results are used as a basis for creation of geospatial services for decision-makers and ministries in Ukraine in agricultural area and effectiveness increasing of its functioning, and will be registered in GEOSS system of systems.
