The aim of the work is to define the effect of triticale on the metabolism processes in the bird's organism taking into account peculiarities of the home sorts, to discover the weakest metabolism links, to work out ways of normalization of metabolism processes and increase of the effectiveness of using triticale. Method of the investigation - the biochemical analyze of metabolism indices, zootechnical methods of carrying out investigations with hens, statistical methods. It has been worked out the methodology of the effective use of triticale in the feeding of poultry. It has been established the feed value of different sorts. It has been determined the optimal norms of introduction of triticale in the full ration mixed-feed (15-20%); weak links of metabolism (the antioxidant system and lipid exchange); criteria of the metabolism control in the bird's organism (the concentration of vitamins A, E in the liver and eggs, the content of lipids in the blood serum, liver), the level of phosphor in the blood serum. It has been worked out the ways of metabolism normalization, which ensure the high productivity of birds and high economical indices (the use of biologically active substances, extrusion of triticale with oil crops). The economical effect of using mixed-feeds with triticale for chickens, enriched by biologically active substances, makes up 190 grn. per 1000 heads. The economical effect of using triticale-sun-flower extrudates is 1900 grn. per 1000 breeding hens.
