The object of study is а modern foundry plants leading machine-building industry, its processes, working conditions foundry workers, workers in hazardous conditions, history of diagnosed diseases (archive of Research Institute Clinic of Kharkiv National Medical University). The objective is to increase the effectiveness of preventive measures for occupational diseases through research and health and working conditions among workers in hazardous and dangerous conditions foundry engineering with the introduction of the concept of professionally-driven risks. Research Methods - hygienic, clinical, immunological, statistical. The role of dust in the air of working zone of risk of chronic occupational respiratory diseases is studied, as well as the duration of their dependence on the level of harmful occupational factors. The criteria of occupational hazards in foundry engineering are defined. The relation of chronic obstructive lung diseases of dust level and work experience is studied. A set of informative indicators that allow them to identify, monitor risk and use of targeted prevention of occupational diseases of the respiratory system is proposed.
